By Arsèn WengerThere is a sense of relief in the Emirates Stadium as Arsenal begin the first of three games at the Emirates with a three-game unbeaten run.

After losing the first two at the home of their rivals, they are hoping to bounce back against Manchester United and then Chelsea on Saturday.

While Wenger’s side have won just once in the league this season, he admits they were underdogs in both games against Manchester City and Chelsea.

“It was not good for us, but it was not terrible,” he said.

“We had a good game in Manchester and we did not get beaten, but we are not in a position where we want to lose and the team is not good enough to beat the Premier League.”

In the second match, Arsenal will take on Liverpool on Saturday, a match which Wenger says will be difficult for his side.

“I think the first match will be hard,” he told reporters.

“In my opinion, the first game is a difficult one because I think it is difficult for everyone, but at the same time it is very important.”

A big win for the team means a lot for us and it is a big game.

“But the second game will be a hard one.”
