SunPower, the world’s largest solar power producer, has confirmed to Bloomberg that it is working with the government on a project that would harness wind and solar energy to power the country’s grid.

SunPower chief executive officer Robert Siegel confirmed the development on Wednesday.

Sun power is a project of the U.S. Department of Energy, which was in the process of developing the first solar power station for use on the U!

The project was initially slated to start construction in the third quarter of 2021, but a technical glitch delayed its launch until December of this year.

Sun Power is seeking a loan from the U,S.

Treasury Department and a private company, Energy Investment Trust, to fund the project, Siegel said in a statement.

Solar panels are installed by Energy Investment Partnerships, an affiliate of the Chinese conglomerate, SolarCity Corp., which also recently signed a $300 million agreement with SolarCity in China to install a solar array in the U., according to Bloomberg.

Siegel said that SolarCity’s investment is expected to pay for itself within five years, and that the investment could be completed within five to 10 years.

Snyder said earlier this year that SunPower’s solar power plant would be operational by 2021.

The company’s latest announcement comes after Bloomberg reported on Wednesday that it had received the green light to build a $200 million solar energy project in Nevada.

The company had hoped to begin construction in 2019, but has recently delayed the project’s start to late 2021.

SolarCity said in October that it planned to build 100 megawatts of solar power capacity in the United States.
